Hime Gyaru is a Japanese fashion style based on looking like a modern princess. It literally translates into 'Princess Girl'. It is a very OTT (Over the top) style and is a very expensive one,too.Clothes:
Hime Gyarus usually wear dresses,skirts or blouses. The dresses are usually pastel pink or white with floral patterns. They include lots of frills,ruffles,bows and lace. Skirts can be ruffled,have a cute print (floral,teddy bears etc.),be pleated or just plain pastel colours. Blouses are usually white and very frilly with bows.
Accessories:
necklaces/bracelets/earrings,lace gloves,opaque white tights,lace tights and so on. Many Hime Gyarus have Hime Gyaru handbags and phone cases aswell.
Shoes:
Hime Gyarus tend to have very pretty shoes to match their outfits. Typical Hime Gyaru shoes are usually open toe and have huge roses/bows on the front. Although you can also wear pretty boots with a small heel on colder days.Hair:
Big hair is very common in the Hime look. There are many different styles although the most popular is the big poofy hairstyle with lots of curls hanging down. Hair can be any (Natural) colour. Most Hime Gyarus have bangs,but you don't need them.
Nails:
Hime Gyaru nails are usually verry OTT with lots of pearls,pretty patterns,nail art,roses etc. Alot of Hime Gyarus use fake nails as it is easier, however if you don't have the time/money a nice pastel colour on natural nails will be ok.Makeup:

Many Hime Gyarus have pretty coats,bedrooms and other accessories aswell,however this is completley optinal, especially if your on a budget. Some girls even live as if they're actually a princess. Many Hime Gyarus have a tan, but skin colour doesn't matter.Some older Himes even decorate there houses in Hime style!
